The Maxi Dress is hands down one of the most elegant dresses you can possibly wear. Which is why it has become such a popular style in today's fashion trends. You see celebrities wearing them, women wearing them to work, and many women wearing them on a casual night out. 
Fashion has taken a sharp turn in the way maxi dresses are worn today. They were typically worn to high end restaurants and events like weddings or prom. 
 



I remember a few years back, it would be difficult to find them at the average fashion boutique but now they're actually quite common. Another reason why I love the maxi dress is because it makes me look taller. Standing at 5'2", adding some height is a must when I meet new people. A maxi dress paired with 5" heels and I feel the confidence to flirt with the 6'2" cutie I met a few days back at a college reunion. If you don't believe me, you can try one yourself. It really works wonders. 



I have worn maxi dresses on dates to high end restaurants, to weddings, and to work. I also accompany the dress with jewelry like bracelets and necklaces. It doesn't matter if I wear a clutch or a mid sized handbag, still look good! 



The maxi dress is also the quick grab I go for when I'm in a rush and need to find an outfit right away. Depending on the look you are going for, you can even wear sandals with it on a nice spring day.
